How to play
Ivy is a team-up support. Kudzu Connection tethers her to an ally so they share buffs and healing, Entangling Thorns slows and immobilises, Stone Form stuns and heals, and Air Drop flies an ally into the fight for a huge explosion.
Her innate movement
Ivy has 4 stamina bars and 10% lower gravity, so she floats a little further on every jump.
Laning phase (0–10 min)
- Tether your lane partner. Kudzu gives you both fire rate and lifesteal.
- Thorns for trades. Slow the enemy hero, then shoot.
- Stone Form when you’re dived. It stuns everyone near you and heals you.
Mid game (10–25 min)
- Pair up with your carry. Kudzu makes them deadlier and helps them sustain.
- Air Drop ganks. Fly a teammate into a lane for a surprise attack, and Air Drop T1 gives both of you a barrier.
Late game and team fights (25+ min)
- Air Drop your best brawler into the enemy backline.
- Air Drop T3 silences everyone in the explosion for 3 seconds.
- Kudzu T3 keeps the tether up permanently.
Combos
- Air assault: Air Drop an ally → drop on the enemy team (slow and silence) → Entangling Thorns on the landing zone.
- Lock down: Thorns (slow for 2s → immobilise with T3) → Stone Form stun → focus.
- Duo lane: Kudzu on your partner → both shoot → Stone Form if they dive.
Matchups
- Good against: teams that group up (Thorns, Air Drop explosions).
- Hard against: long-range poke that breaks the Kudzu line of sight, and burst on her tethered ally.
Pro tips
- Air Drop’s cooldown is 70 seconds on allies instead of 100.
- Without a tether, Kudzu gives you +50% move speed, which is a strong escape.
Lore
Ivy is a gargoyle brought to life to protect a family, and she spent eighteen years tearing apart the crime syndicate that threatened them. With that job done, she's left home to find a new purpose.
Frequently asked questions
How does Kudzu Connection work?
Ivy tethers to an ally within 16 metres for 12 seconds (permanently with T3). Both get bonus fire rate and bullet lifesteal, and 35% of healing is shared between them. The tether needs line of sight. When she's not tethered, Ivy gets bonus move speed instead.
How does Air Drop work?
Ivy grabs an ally, flies with them, then drops them for a big explosion and a 20% damage buff. On herself, she drops a bomb instead. Its cooldown is shorter (70 seconds) when used on an ally.
How do you counter Ivy?
Focus her tethered ally, or break line of sight to cut the connection. Watch the skies for Air Drop, and stay out of Entangling Thorns.
