Item build
A starting build that works in most games. Swap pieces based on the enemy team; the notes explain what each stage is for.
Checked against 26,726 Rem matches from October 6–7, 2026 (all ranks). It keeps the items most Rem players buy and fills the other slots with the items that won most often. See the item tier list for how we measure that.

How to play
Rem is a support and disruptor. Tag Along flies him onto an ally to nap and heal them, Pillow Toss knocks enemies back and reduces his other cooldowns, Lil’ Helpers buff allies, empower troopers and run errands, and Naptime puts entire teams to sleep.
His unique traits
- Tunnels: Rem can enter and exit tunnels through vents while out of combat.
- Helpers that shop: Lil’ Helpers can buy from shops, open crates and hit Sinner’s Sacrifice for you.
Laning phase (0–10 min)
- Pillow Toss for trades. Every hit cuts your other cooldowns by 5 seconds.
- Tag Along your lane partner to heal them; you’re untargetable while napping.
- Send helpers to your troopers to push the lane harder.
Mid game (10–25 min)
- Nap on your carry. Hop on, heal, hop off when needed.
- Helpers for farm. Send them to break crates and buy items while you fight.
Late game and team fights (25+ min)
- Naptime the enemy team before your team engages. Sleeping enemies can’t fight back.
- Coordinate the wake-up. Damage wakes them, so let your team line up their biggest burst.
- Naptime T3 makes you Unstoppable while channelling.
Combos
- Sleep and burst: Naptime → team lines up abilities → biggest burst wakes them up.
- Lane harass: Pillow Toss → cooldowns reduced → Pillow Toss again sooner.
- Save: Tag Along a low ally → heal → hop to another ally for a second heal.
Matchups
- Good against: grouped teams (Naptime), and dive heroes who can be knocked back.
- Hard against: burst assassins who reach him when he’s not napping.
Pro tips
- Tag Along T2 boosts your items’ range, duration and barriers by 35%, which works well with support items.
- Your gun gently homes in towards your crosshair.
Lore
Rem accidentally stowed away from the dream world and now wanders New York with his helpful little companions, looking for a way home. He gets by with pillow fights and the curious helpers who follow him across the five boroughs.
Frequently asked questions
How does Rem's Naptime work?
After a 1.9-second channel, enemies in a large area fall asleep for 4 seconds (4.75 with T2). Taking enough damage wakes them up and deals bonus damage. Use the sleep to reposition, set up big combos, or escape.
What can Lil' Helpers do?
Helpers can follow a hero to give spirit resist and move speed, or follow a trooper to make it stronger. They can also open crates, hit Sinner's Sacrifice machines and buy items from shops for you, even far away.
How do you counter Rem?
Interrupt Naptime during its 1.9-second channel, and focus Rem when he isn't napping on an ally, since he has very little health.
