Deadlock Tier List (October 2026): Every Hero Ranked by Win Rate

Every Deadlock hero ranked into S to D tiers using current win-rate data after the October 5, 2026 patch, plus what's driving the meta and how to use a tier list properly.

This tier list ranks all 39 playable heroes by win rate across all ranks after the October 5, 2026 patch, using public match data from Seemeta (cross-checked against Metabot, which shows the same top heroes).

How we tier: S = 54%+ · A = 52–54% · B = 50–52% · C = 47.5–50% · D = below 47.5%. The average hero wins about 50% of games, so every tier is playable. Updated after each major patch.

* Rat King was released on October 2 and nerfed on October 5. New heroes’ numbers swing a lot in their first weeks, so treat his ranking as provisional. Baba (released October 6) isn’t ranked yet; she needs more matches before her win rate means anything.

What’s driving the meta

  • Supports are strong. Paige, Kelvin, Ivy and Dynamo all sit in S or A tier. Barriers, heals and team buffs are winning fights right now.
  • Sustain brawlers are winning. Victor (self-revive) and Graves (endless ghoul pressure) are near the top.
  • Haze is the most-picked hero by far, appearing in about 63% of matches, and still wins more than half of them.
  • Complex heroes rank lower in all-rank data. Heroes like Paradox, The Doorman and Pocket have lower win rates partly because they’re hard to play, and they often perform better in the hands of experienced players.

How to use a tier list

  1. Comfort beats tier. A few percent of win rate is much smaller than the difference between a hero you know and one you don’t.
  2. All-rank data favours easy heroes. Simple, forgiving heroes win more in mixed-skill games. Hard heroes often climb at higher ranks.
  3. Counter-picks matter. A D-tier hero can be the right pick against a specific enemy team. Check the matchups section of each hero guide.
  4. It changes every patch. Valve patches Deadlock several times a month, so check back after each update.

Frequently asked questions

Who is the best hero in Deadlock right now?

By win rate, Rat King, Paige, Graves and Victor are on top after the October 5, 2026 patch. Rat King's number comes from his first few days, before and around his October 5 nerf, so expect it to drop.

How is this tier list made?

Heroes are placed by their current win rate across all ranks. S is 54% or higher, A is 52–54%, B is 50–52%, C is 47.5–50%, and D is below 47.5%. We re-check it after every major patch.

Should I only play S-tier heroes?

No. The difference between tiers is a few percent. A hero you know well will win you more games than an S-tier hero you've never played. Use the tier list to understand the meta, not to pick your main.

Numbers on this page are checked against the game and the community-run Deadlock Wiki. Spotted something a patch changed? Tell us.
