Checked against 27,131 Paige matches from October 6–7, 2026 (all ranks). It keeps the items most Paige players buy and fills the other slots with the items that won most often. See the item tier list for how we measure that.

How to play
Paige is a shielding support. Plot Armor gives allies a barrier and bonus weapon damage, Captivating Read immobilises groups, Bookwyrm sends a dragon through enemies, and Rallying Charge sends a charge of knights across the entire map to heal allies and stun enemies.
Her unique gun
Chapter’s End fires very slow (43.4 m/s), piercing shots that hit hard (35 damage each). Lead every shot, and line up several enemies to hit them all. Item effects only trigger on the first target hit. She can’t land critical headshots, but can still trigger headshot items.
Laning phase (0–10 min)
- Plot Armor your lane partner when they trade. The barrier and +25% weapon damage win trades.
- Captivating Read for kills. Slow, then immobilise the enemy hero.
Mid game (10–25 min)
- Plot Armor your carry in every fight.
- Rallying Charge from far away to help a fight on the other side of the map. It gets stronger the further it travels.
Late game and team fights (25+ min)
- Plot Armor T3 shields 3 allies at once.
- Rallying Charge as a reset. Heal your whole team and stun the enemy in one cast.
Combos
- Lockdown: Captivating Read (slow → immobilise) → Bookwyrm through the trapped enemies.
- Buff and burst: Plot Armor on your carry → they shoot with +25% weapon damage.
- Global save: Rallying Charge from across the map into a losing fight.
Matchups
- Good against: teams that rely on burst (barriers absorb it), and grouped enemies.
- Hard against: fast assassins who can reach her.
Pro tips
- Your heavy melee scales with spirit power (since September 2026).
- Captivating Read T3 strips 18% spirit resist, setting up spirit damage for your team.
Lore
Paige grew up as a book dealer's daughter who loved kindness and magic. Her rebellious brother Bryce rejected both, dabbled in forbidden occult practices and vanished, and now Paige, a gifted bibliomancer, searches obsessively for what happened to him.
Frequently asked questions
Is Paige a good beginner support?
Yes. Plot Armor is easy to use and very strong, and Rallying Charge can be cast from anywhere on the map. Her gun takes getting used to because the bullets are very slow.
How far does Rallying Charge go?
Across the entire map. It gets stronger the further it travels, up to +100% (+170% with T3) after 250 metres, healing and speeding up allies and stunning enemies it passes through.
Can Paige headshot?
Not for critical damage. Paige can't land critical headshots, but her shots can still trigger headshot-based item effects.
