Deadlock Mid Boss and Rejuvenator Guide

Everything about Deadlock's Mid Boss, including its location, health and attacks, the 3,000+ soul reward, how Rejuvenator revive credits work, stealing the Rejuvenator, and when to take it.

The Mid Boss is Deadlock’s biggest neutral objective. Killing it gives your team a large soul payout, permanent buffs, and a shot at the Rejuvenator, which lets your team survive deaths for three minutes.

Where it is

In the sewers at the centre of the map, beneath Broadway (the middle lane). The entrances are marked with Rejuvenator signs along Broadway.

When it’s up

  • At the start of the match: since May 2026 it no longer waits to spawn.
  • Respawn: 7 minutes after the first kill, 6 minutes after the second, and 5 minutes after every later kill.

Stats

StatValue
Health13,000, plus 195 per minute
Regenerating shield35, plus 5 per minute
Health regen15 per second
AttackA purple beam on the closest player in the pit: 20 per hit, 100 DPS, 38 m range
Resistance15% bullet, 0% spirit, 35% debuff resist

When it reaches 50% health it roars, and both teams hear it. Expect the enemy to come and contest.

Rewards

  • 3,000 souls (+50 per minute) for the killing team, split evenly.
  • 2 permanent buffs for every player on the killing team.
  • The Rejuvenator crystal (see below).

The Rejuvenator

After the Mid Boss dies, a crystal descends for 6 seconds. Then:

  1. Each heavy melee hit on it gives the hitter’s team one revive credit (up to 3 per kill).
  2. The first player to hit it is healed to full.
  3. Either team can claim credits, whoever killed the boss.

What credits do:

  • They last 3 minutes (you get a warning 30 seconds before they expire).
  • A player who dies with a credit gets back up on the spot at full health 3 seconds later, then loses the buff. Each player can use one.
  • Kills on players with a credit give no souls and don’t count as kills.

As of November 2025, the Rejuvenator no longer gives any stat bonuses. It’s purely about revives.

When to take the Mid Boss

Good times:

  • After winning a team fight, when 2+ enemies are dead with long respawn timers.
  • Right before a big push on enemy Shrines or the Patron, so you push with revive credits.
  • When you can see most of the enemy team on the other side of the map.

Bad times:

  • When the enemy is at full strength and nearby. Starting the boss invites them to attack you while you’re weak, and then steal the crystal.

Contesting and stealing

  • Listen for the roar at 50% health. That’s your signal the enemy is taking it.
  • You don’t need to kill the boss to win. Hit the enemy team while they’re busy with the boss, then steal the crystal with heavy melees.
  • Area abilities are excellent in the cramped pit.
  • When the crystal drops, prioritise heavy melee on it over chasing kills. Three revive credits for your team can decide the next fight.

Frequently asked questions

When does the Mid Boss spawn in Deadlock?

It's there from the start of the match (since May 2026). After it dies, it respawns 7 minutes later, then 6 minutes after the second kill, then 5 minutes after every kill after that.

How does the Rejuvenator work?

After the Mid Boss dies, a crystal descends for 6 seconds. Every heavy melee hit on it gives that player's team one revive credit (up to 3). A player who dies with a credit gets back up at full health 3 seconds later, and the enemy gets no souls or kill. Credits last 3 minutes.

Can the enemy steal the Rejuvenator?

Yes. Either team can heavy melee the crystal for credits, whoever killed the Mid Boss. Keep enemies away from the pit when the boss is low.
