Deadlock gets patched several times a month, and a guide site is only as good as its last correction. We can't catch every changed number on our own, so the server gives readers a direct line to us. Anyone can join, whether you've played five matches or five hundred.
Reporting a mistake or asking for a guide
- Open a new thread in #site-feedback.
- Pick a tag: Wrong info, Bug, Suggestion, Guide request or Build rater. Every thread needs one, which lets us sort reports quickly.
- Paste the page link (or name the hero or item) and say what's wrong or what you'd like to see. If it's about a number, say which patch you're on.
We read every thread. We tag it Planned once we've picked it up and Fixed when the change is live on the site. If your report makes it onto the site, you get the Contributor role in the server.
Getting a playtest invite
Deadlock is still invite-only: you get in when a Steam friend who owns the game sends you an invite. Post your Steam friend code in #invites, and players with access can add you and send one. Our invite guide covers the whole process, including why some Steam accounts can't receive invites.
- Invites are free. Anyone buying or selling invites or accounts is banned.
- Never give anyone your Steam login. A real invite needs only your friend code.
- Our spam filter blocks the usual scams, like fake Nitro and fake Steam links, but stay careful in DMs too.
House rules
- Be decent. Roast a build, not a person, and no harassment or slurs.
- No cheats, hacks or match-breaking exploits, and no links to them.
- No spam or self-promotion without asking a moderator first.
- Keep it safe for work.
- Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines apply.
To keep spam bots out, your Discord account needs a verified email and has to be at least five minutes old before you can post.
