A low win rate doesn’t make a hero unplayable. Heroes that win much more at Oracle and above than at all ranks are usually hard to play well rather than weak, and heroes that drop at high rank tend to hold up better against newer players.

The item meta

Our item tier list compares every purchase with other items bought by the same hero, at the same point in the match, with the same net worth. In matches played October 6 to 15, 2026, these items earned an S grade:

How to read these numbers

  • Win rate depends on who plays a hero. A hero mostly played by experts looks stronger than one everybody is trying for the first time. That’s why brand-new heroes start low.
  • Small gaps aren’t real gaps. With a few thousand matches, a win rate can be off by about two points either way. Treat 51% and 52% as the same.
  • Pick rate is per 100 matches. Both teams can pick the same hero, so a very popular hero can appear in more than half of all games.
  • This is Standard mode. Ranked games are a smaller pool and often follow a step behind.

For a single ranking of every hero, see the hero tier list. For how to build them, open any hero guide, or test a build in the build rater.
