The first and so far only balance patch since City Never Sleeps landed on Monday, October 5, 2026. It went after the two heroes who had been running away with games, and fixed a bug that had slowed every lane down.
Rat King
Rat King launched very strong, mostly because of how often his ultimate was up. That’s where most of the nerf went:
| Ability | Change |
|---|---|
| Rule, Ratannia! (ultimate) | Cooldown 130 → 160 s. Damage reduction 20% → 15%. Radius 24 → 20 m. Charge time 12 → 10 s. Bonus move speed no longer scales with spirit. He falls faster while charging. |
| Ultimate upgrades | T1 now gives +2 m/s move speed (was +1) but no longer takes 20 s off the cooldown. T2 no longer adds 8 s of charge, and its flag lasts +5 s (was +8). T3 damage reduction +10% (was +15%). |
| Scrap Grenade | Damage 65 → 70 (the T2 bonus also 65 → 70). Bounce targeting fixed. |
| Rat Swarm | Cooldown 28 → 24 s. |
Put together, a fully upgraded ultimate went from a 110 to a 160 second cooldown and from 35% to 25% damage reduction. Our Rat King guide is updated for the new numbers.
Sinclair

| Vexing Bolt | Now deals half damage to objectives |
| Rabbit Hex | Radius 6.5 → 6 m; T3 bonus +3 → +2 m |
| Audience Participation (ultimate) | Copied ultimates last 12 → 9 s; copied cooldown 40% → 60% |

Troopers fixed
A bug had made lane troopers walk too slowly since City Never Sleeps, which delayed every wave meeting and slowed the early game. That’s fixed, so waves now clash on their old timing again.
